Matt Stoupas started his career as a factory trained  Porsche apprentice in mid-1980s to become a fully qualified Porsche Technician with the famed Hamilton’s Porsche of Melbourne. 

He went on to found Weltmeister Porsche Service in 1993 and grew the business into a renowned Service, Sales, and Motorsport Dealership over the next two and a half decades.

At its peak, Weltmeister was Australia’s largest independent Porsche Service and Sales Centre– selling more used Porsches throughout Australia than any other Dealership.

Throughout his time as the Director of Weltmeister he continued his Porsche Passion in Driving, to win four Porsche Club Championships and three outright Porsche Club Championships and was one of the few to be inducted into the Porsche Club Hall of Fame with the likes of Peter Fitzgerald and Jim Richards.

ThePorschaDen was founded in 2018, after Matt sold Weltmeister in mid-2015, to concentrate his experience on the finest preloved Porsche examples available in Australia.

Matt continues his journey with his Motorsport passion through the Australian GT Series, where he drives the number 23 KFC Motorsport Audi R8 LMS to regular Victories including the 2017 Victorian Sports Car Championship, and runner-up in the 2018 Australian GT Trophy Championship.

UPDATE - Matt placed second in the 2018 and 2019 Australian GT1 Championship and is back racing again for the 2021 Australian GT season!
