Rennlist
Rennlist was founded in May of 1997 by John Dunkle as a Porsche discussion email list, known at the time as “PorscheList.” This new email server was created as an alternative to the aging “Porsche Fans” email server that was established in 1995. By 2000, the community had grown to include 38 email lists, 7 web discussion boards, and over 30,000 list subscribers. Today, the site is the largest online resource for Porsche enthusiasts with over 200,000 registered members from across the world. The forum features over 1 million topics with information on everything from the original Porsche 911 to the new Porsche Taycan.
Rennlist editors and contributors strive to maintain the highest possible standard of journalistic ethics with a focus on objective news reporting, fact-checking (and formal corrections when needed), and original content creation, which includes citing of sources, proper photo and source accreditation and disclosure of sponsored posts or connections with advertisers or manufactures. This includes free or discounted products or services. From car detailing products to car parts to media drives, the content team also maintains objectivity when creating sponsored content. Our ad sales department can sell ads; the content team only recommends products or services that we genuinely endorse and have experience using.
